The Barclays Schedule 2008
The Barclays 2008 will be held from 18 to 24 August. This will be the second year that the event has been held in August, instead of its traditional June dates - either before or after the US Open, the second Grand Slam of the year.
The tournament had to be moved to a later date as it is now the first FedEx Cup playoff event to be held each year. Herewith follows the Barclays schedule for 2008.

Directions to the Westchester Country Club
- From Hutchinson River Parkway Northbound – take exit 26 (1-287 East), stay on the service road (Westchester Avenue) and follow the signs for Route 120, city of Rye. At the traffic light at Polly Park Avenue turn right. The entrance to the Westchester Country Club will be on your left (Belmont Ave). Follow Belmont Avenue all the way through the suburbs and it will lead you directly to the club’s parking area.
- From Merritt / Hutchinson River Parkway Southbound – take exit 26 (1-287 East) and follow the directions above.
- From I-95 (New England / Connecticut Throughway) Northbound from New York City – take exit 21, and cross the Westchester Expressway (1-287 West) to exit 10 / Bowman Avenue. At the top of the exit ramp turn left. Go through the next lot of traffic lights and the entrance to the club will be on your left.
- From I-95 (New England / Connecticut Throughway) Southbound from Connecticut – take exit 21 and then follow the directions immediately above.
- From I-287 East – take the number 10 exit (Bowman Avenue / Webb Avenue) and then follow the directions from Hutchinson River Parkway Northbound.
Possibly the easiest way to get to the Barclays from New York city is by train. From Grand Central Station take the New Haven line to Rye Station. Shuttles will be available between the station and the venue.
